| GE Engineering, Inc. utilizes
a forensic nurse to apply nursing science to injuries received
in accidents. The input from the nurse enables engineering
analyses to be conducted in the areas of forces and impact
on the human body. The forensic nurse, also, provides direct
services to individual clients, consultation services to nursing,
medical and law related agencies. These services can include:
- Organize
information revealed by medical records and other medically
related litigation materials. Identify missing reports
and records.
- Prepare chronologies of medical events
- Research and summarize
medical literature
- Compare and correlate medical events
to allegations
- Educate engineers and Attorneys regarding
medical injuries , facts and issues
- Locate and procure
demonstrative evidence.
